MOSES is fully compliant with all HIPAA standards
- Security - Our Internet-based business model, the Application Service Provider, (ASP) has the highest security possible. That’s because our security measures are the same as used by banks and other professions that manage private information over the Internet.
- Logins - All logins require a User ID and password that must be changed regularly.
- ‘Quick-lock’ - There is a ‘quick lock’ button that locks your computer so that users must re-enter their password to regain access. This is helpful in patient rooms allows users to position computers anywhere in patient rooms while protecting the privacy of the patient base.
EDI standards – all are supported in MOSES
- Claims submission uses ASC X12N/837 for Medicare Part B and Part A.
- MOSES has years of experience supporting both Medicare Part A and Part B 837 submissions.
- Supports all uses of the 837, regardless of your line of medical practice.
- Also supports the receipt of ASC 997s as confirmations of receipt by recipient.
- Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) uses ASC X12N/835
- In a single click, an unlimited number of payments/adjustments can be posted to outstanding claims.
- Additional flexibility is provided by allowing partial processing of the ERA. The user can later return to the ERA and continue to work the unprocessed portions.
- Codes that indicate crossover billing of secondary payers are supported in this manner: MOSES automatically notes that the secondary has been automatically billed by the primary.
- A printed report is also available should you prefer to have a paper copy of your ERA (similar to a paper Explanation of Benefits).
